The AMX is a 1969 Big Bad Green AMX, one of only 283 produced. The car has only 28,000 original miles on the odometer and the engine has NEVER been apart. A rare find; we have
the factory build sheet for the car. It still has the factory cam, which is very mild with a smooth-as-glass idle. I've owned it for 14 years. It has a 390 ci engine, 4-speed, factory Hurst
Competition Plus shifter, "Go-Pac", "Rally Pac" gauges, charcoal leather interior, "twin Grip" posi rear axle, dealer installed Trendsetter side exhaust (NOS) and dealer installed (NOS) R4B
Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. I put the magnum 500 wheels on the car right after the restoration was finished, but now I have the original rally wheels and correct Goodyear
redlines on it. The car is a AMO Junior Division Gold level show winner at the National Level. It now moves to the Senior Division next time it is judged. This summer (2008) the car won
the Rocky Mountain Fourteeners Best of Show at the Rocky Mountain Concours d'Elegance. It was featured in the book; Muscle America's Legendary Performance by Motorbooks,
photography by David Newhardt. It is also the "May" car in the 2009 American Muscle Cars calendar.
While the AMX was in very fine original condition before the restoration, it drove me crazy that the paint was in poor condition and the engine bay was looking tired. As a result I did a
ground up restoration that you will see in the pictures. The car has zero miles since the restoration was completed. Of all the cars, this is the one I'm most attached to.
